Below are pictures of the Xbox controllers currently in our library, ranging from the original Xbox released in 2001 to the Xbox Series X, released in 2020.
After taking a look at unusual peripheral controllers that are in our library, here’s a peek at the Xbox controllers we have – spanning across all four generations of the consoles.
Original Xbox controllers

The polarizing original “Duke” controller, known for its massive size and awkward button configuration.

The Xbox Controller S, a slimmed-down model of the original controller that marked a significant improvement in comfortability for many players.

A blue third-party original Xbox controller serving as a replica of the aforementioned S controller. First-party transparent blue controllers were released by Microsoft.
Xbox 360 controllers

Two standard wireless white Xbox 360 controllers, corresponding with the Xbox 360 Arcade model I received as a Christmas gift in 2008.

A special edition wireless Xbox 360 controller released in conjunction with Fable III in October 2010.
Xbox One controllers

Two black Xbox One controllers and one white Xbox One controller, the latter of which was released alongside a corresponding white Xbox One console.
Xbox Series X controllers

A black Xbox Series X controller that came with the console alongside a Sunkissed Pink controller and an Electric Volt controller.
